Refund Policy
“Clear information about cancellations, refunds and your rights when using our services.”
Wiki Assignments UK is committed to handling cancellations, service concerns and refund requests fairly, transparently and in accordance with applicable consumer rights. This Refund Policy explains when customers may be entitled to cancel an order, when a full or partial refund may be available, how concerns about a service are handled and how to request a refund.
Refund rights can depend on the circumstances of an individual order, including when the contract was entered into, whether the customer requested that work begin during a statutory cancellation period, how much of the service has already been performed, whether the service has been completed and the nature of any service-related concern.
Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or replace any statutory rights or remedies available to a consumer under applicable law. Where this policy and a mandatory legal right differ, the applicable legal right takes precedence.

Purpose of this policy
This policy explains the approach Wiki Assignments UK takes to cancellations, refunds and service-related remedies for orders placed through our website or otherwise accepted by us.
It should be read together with our Terms & Conditions and, where relevant, our Revision Policy once published. Customers should contact us promptly if they wish to cancel an order or believe that a service has not been provided as agreed.
Cancellation rights
Customers who enter into a qualifying distance contract may have a statutory right to cancel the contract within 14 days without giving a reason, subject to applicable exceptions and the rules governing services that begin during the cancellation period.
The cancellation period for a qualifying service contract generally begins when the contract is entered into. Customers wishing to exercise a statutory cancellation right should inform Wiki Assignments UK of their decision clearly before the applicable cancellation period expires.
These statutory cancellation rights are separate from any additional cancellation or refund arrangements that Wiki Assignments UK may provide under this policy.
Orders started during the cancellation period
Many academic-support orders involve short or urgent deadlines. A customer may therefore request that Wiki Assignments UK begin providing the service before the end of an applicable statutory cancellation period.
Where a customer expressly requests that a service begin during that period, the consequences of a later cancellation will be determined in accordance with applicable law. This may include responsibility for an amount proportionate to the service supplied before the cancellation was communicated.
Where a service has been fully performed during the cancellation period following the customer's required express request and acknowledgement, the statutory right to cancel may cease in accordance with applicable law.
Cancelling an order
Customers who wish to cancel an order should contact Wiki Assignments UK as soon as possible. The effect of cancellation depends on the status of the order and any applicable statutory rights.
Before work begins
Where a valid cancellation is received before work has commenced, a refund will be provided where required by applicable law. Where no statutory cancellation right applies, we may nevertheless approve a cancellation and refund where no substantive work has begun and no non-recoverable service has been provided.
After work begins
Where work has already commenced, the amount refundable will depend on the circumstances of the order and the customer's applicable rights. Where permitted by law, the value of services properly supplied before cancellation may be taken into account.
After completion or delivery
Completion or delivery does not remove any statutory remedy that a customer may have where a service does not conform to the contract. However, a request made after delivery solely because a customer has changed their mind will not normally create an additional contractual right to a refund where no statutory cancellation right or other legal remedy applies.
When a refund may be available
A full or partial refund may be available where required by law or where, after reviewing the circumstances of an order, Wiki Assignments UK determines that a refund is an appropriate contractual remedy.
Circumstances that may result in a refund include:
- A valid exercise of an applicable statutory cancellation right.
- A duplicate payment for the same order.
- An incorrect or excess payment that can be verified from transaction records.
- A service that has not been supplied as agreed and cannot appropriately be brought into conformity through repeat performance or another applicable remedy.
- A material failure attributable to Wiki Assignments UK that substantially affects the agreed service.
- A cancellation accepted by Wiki Assignments UK before substantive work has commenced.
- Another circumstance in which applicable consumer law requires a refund or price reduction.
Refund eligibility and the amount of any refund will be determined according to the applicable legal rights and the facts of the individual order rather than by the presence of a complaint alone.
Quality concerns and revisions
If a customer believes that a service does not conform to what was agreed, they should contact us promptly and identify the specific issue. Where appropriate, Wiki Assignments UK may review the original instructions, the service supplied and the concern raised.
Depending on the circumstances and the customer's applicable rights, an appropriate remedy may include correction, revision, repeat performance, a price reduction or a refund.
Where repeat performance is an appropriate statutory remedy, it will be provided in accordance with applicable consumer law. Nothing in this policy requires a customer to accept a contractual revision process where doing so would unlawfully restrict a statutory remedy.
A difference in personal preference, a change in instructions after the service has been completed, or a request for work outside the original agreed scope will not by itself establish that the original service was defective.
Deadline and delivery issues
Where an agreed delivery deadline is material to the service and Wiki Assignments UK becomes aware of a potential delay, reasonable efforts will be made to communicate with the customer and address the situation.
A delayed delivery does not automatically produce the same remedy in every case. The appropriate outcome will depend on the agreed terms, the extent and effect of the delay, whether the service remains useful to the customer and any rights available under applicable law.
Where a delay amounts to a failure to provide the agreed service and a refund or price reduction is required by law, the applicable statutory remedy will be honoured.
Wiki Assignments UK will not normally be responsible for a delay caused by the customer, including failure to provide necessary instructions, files, information, responses or clarification within the time reasonably required to complete the service, subject always to the customer's statutory rights.
Duplicate and incorrect payments
If a customer is charged more than once for the same payment obligation, the verified duplicate amount will be refunded.
Customers who believe they have made an incorrect or excess payment should contact us with sufficient information to identify the relevant transaction. We will review the payment records and refund any amount shown to have been collected in error where appropriate.
Customers should not publish complete payment-card details, passwords or other sensitive authentication information when contacting us about a transaction.
When an additional contractual refund is not normally available
Subject to statutory rights and remedies, Wiki Assignments UK will not normally provide an additional contractual refund solely because:
- The customer changes their mind after a service has been fully performed and no applicable cancellation right remains.
- The customer changes the original instructions, scope, topic, requirements or preferences after work has commenced or been completed.
- The customer fails to provide necessary information, materials, instructions or responses within a reasonable time and this materially affects delivery or performance.
- The customer does not use, submit or otherwise make use of the service supplied.
- The concern relates solely to a subjective preference that was not part of the agreed instructions.
- The customer requests additional work outside the original agreed scope.
- The customer seeks a particular academic mark, grade or outcome that was not and could not properly be guaranteed by the service.
- The customer uses the service in a manner inconsistent with our Academic Integrity Policy or their institution's requirements.
This section does not remove any right to cancellation, repeat performance, price reduction, refund or other remedy that a customer has under applicable law.
Academic results and refund requests
Academic results are determined by universities, colleges, awarding bodies, tutors, examiners or other third parties. Wiki Assignments UK does not control marking decisions and does not guarantee a particular grade, classification, mark or academic outcome.
A grade or academic result by itself does not determine whether the service supplied conformed to the agreement. Where a customer raises a concern following academic feedback, we may review the relevant feedback alongside the original instructions and the service provided to determine whether an applicable remedy is available.
Nothing in this section limits a customer's statutory rights where the service itself has not been provided in accordance with applicable legal requirements.
Changes to instructions and scope
Refund assessments are based on the service originally agreed. If a customer materially changes the instructions, scope, deadline, assessment requirements or other essential information after work has begun, the change may require additional work, additional time or a separate agreement.
A service will not normally be treated as defective merely because it does not satisfy requirements that were not provided or agreed when the relevant work was undertaken.
How refund amounts are determined
Where a refund is due, the amount will be determined according to the customer's applicable legal rights and the circumstances of the order.
Depending on those circumstances, this may result in a full refund, a partial refund or another remedy. Relevant considerations may include the amount paid, the service agreed, the extent of performance, the part of the service affected by the issue and any statutory rules governing the calculation of the remedy.
Wiki Assignments UK will not impose a refund fee where doing so is prohibited by applicable law.
How to request a refund
Customers should contact Wiki Assignments UK as soon as reasonably possible after becoming aware of an issue.
To help us identify and review the request efficiently, customers should provide:
- Their name and the email address associated with the order.
- The relevant order number or other available order reference.
- A clear explanation of the cancellation request, payment issue or service concern.
- Details of the part of the service affected, where applicable.
- Relevant instructions, communications or academic feedback where these are necessary to understand the concern.
- Transaction information sufficient to identify a duplicate or incorrect payment, where applicable.
Customers should provide only information reasonably necessary to review the request and should not send passwords or complete payment-card credentials.
How we review refund requests
Refund requests are reviewed against the circumstances of the individual order, the original agreed instructions, the service provided, relevant communications, this policy, our Terms & Conditions and any applicable consumer rights.
We may request additional information where reasonably necessary to understand the issue. A request for information is intended to enable a fair assessment and does not remove or delay any statutory right beyond what applicable law permits.
Once the relevant information has been considered, we will communicate the outcome of the review and, where appropriate, the remedy to be provided.
Approved refunds
Where a customer is legally entitled to a refund, it will be processed within the period required by applicable law. Where the Consumer Rights Act 2015 requires a refund following a price reduction for a service, the refund must be provided without undue delay and, in any event, within 14 days beginning with the day on which the trader agrees that the customer is entitled to it.
Where applicable law requires reimbursement following the exercise of a statutory cancellation right, the refund will be made within the applicable statutory period.
Refunds will normally be made using the same means of payment used for the original transaction unless the customer expressly agrees otherwise or another lawful arrangement is necessary.
After a refund has been issued by Wiki Assignments UK, the time taken for it to appear in the customer's account may also depend on the payment provider, card issuer or financial institution.
Chargebacks and payment disputes
Customers are encouraged to contact Wiki Assignments UK promptly if they believe a payment is incorrect or a service issue requires resolution. This gives us an opportunity to investigate the matter and, where appropriate, provide a remedy.
Nothing in this policy prevents a customer from exercising any lawful right to contact their card issuer, payment provider, alternative dispute resolution provider, regulator or other competent body where applicable.
We may provide relevant order, payment and communication records to a payment provider or other authorised party where reasonably necessary to respond to a payment dispute and where permitted by applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
Statutory consumer rights
This Refund Policy provides information about our refund and cancellation arrangements but does not replace statutory consumer protections.
Depending on the circumstances, customers may have rights under applicable UK consumer law concerning cancellation of distance contracts, reasonable care and skill in the performance of services, repeat performance, price reductions and refunds.
Nothing in this policy or our contractual terms is intended to exclude or restrict a consumer right or remedy where the law does not permit that right or remedy to be excluded or restricted.
